These luxurious ships combine more traditional-style cruise with an Arctic adventure. Ships range in size from 108 to 200 guests. They offer large, very comfortable cabins with en-suite facilities and many have private balconies. The experienced expedition team enable you to explore the High Arctic with Zodiac dinghies and most offer kayaking. Come home to an exquisite ship with superior comfort and excellent cuisine options.

Many new purpose-built Polar Expedition cruise ships have been built in the last 5 years. These ships offer very comfortable cabins, very good cuisine and have a knowledgeable expedition team to look after you. Some have close to 100 guests and can offer two excursions a day and focus on maximising opportunities for exploring. Those with up to 200 guests generally offer one off ship excursion a day (largely due to time factors associated with the 100 passenger ashore limit) and still have an adventurous soul.
