AURORA EXPEDITIONS
Aurora Expeditions is the only Australian-based operator we work with. Aurora Expeditions operated the Polar Pioneer for many years before launching the purpose built sister ships Greg Mortimer (2019) and Sylvia Earle (2022). In 2025, Aurora Expeditions have added a third state-of-the-art ship to their line, the Douglas Mawson. All three ships carry a maximum of just 130 guests to the polar regions.
All three ships venture to the Arctic, offering voyages to Svalbard, Iceland, Greenland and the Northwest Passage. There is also the opportunity to partake in activities such as kayaking, the polar plunge, and rock climbing on their voyages.
