Launched in 2019, the World Explorer is fully equipped to venture to the High Arctic. This ship takes 176 guests and each cabin has either a private walk-out balcony or a Juliet balcony for direct ocean views as well as an en-suite bathroom. There are many comfortable public areas to relax after a day filled with excursions including the glass domed observation lounge, the explorer lounge and a dedicated lecture theatre where the educational program is conducted. There are health and wellness facilities featuring an outdoor running track, small gym, sauna and spa.

Explore the shores of Antarctica onboard a kayak. Glide past ice formations, walrus haul outs and marine wildlife. You will be in groups of up to 12 with an experienced kayak guide who will take you to interesting locations, many that can only able to be reached by kayaks.
Available on all voyages.
This activity is very similar to kayaking but the paddle is inflatable and no dry suit is required. If you are interested in doing experiencing a kayak excursion but do not want to commit to the kayaking program the paddling option allows you to do one excursion on a canoe for approx, 1-1.5 hours with a kayaking guide. The paddles are easy to use and enable you to see the landscape from a different perspective.

The World Explorer Deluxe Suites are located Deck 5, and approximately 31 sq. m in size, these cabins have one double or two single beds, and a 10 sq. walk-out balcony with access from sitting room and bedroom. A separate sitting area with sofa, double closets, refrigerator, TV, state of the art “infotainment” system, and private bathroom with shower and double sinks is also featured in each cabin.
The World Explorer Superior Suites are located on Decks 5 and 6, and approximately 26 sq. m in size, these cabins have one double or two single beds, and a 10 sq. m walk-out balcony with access from sitting room and bedroom. A separate sitting area with sofa, walk-in closet, refrigerator, TV, state of the art “infotainment” system, and private bathroom with shower.
The World Explorer Veranda Suites are located on Decks 5 and 6, and approximately 20 sq. m in size, these cabins have one double or two single beds, and a 5 sq. m walk-out balcony. A sitting area with sofa, refrigerator, TV, state of the art “infotainment” system, and private bathroom with shower is also featured in each cabin.
The World Explorer Infinity Suite is located on Decks 5 and 6, and approximately 25 square metres in size, these cabins have one double or two single beds, and a floor-to-ceiling glass Juliet balcony. A sitting area with sofa, refrigerator, TV, state of the art “infotainment” system, and private bathroom with shower is also featured in each cabin.
The World Explorer Triple Cabins are located on Deck 6, and approximately 22.5 sq. m in size, these cabins have one double or two single beds, and a 5 sq. m walk-out balcony. A separate combo sitting area/bedroom with a sofa bed and additional closet, refrigerator, TV, state of the art “infotainment” system, and private bathroom with shower is also featured in each cabin.
