The World Explorer is currently under construction, once afloat she will be fully equipped to venture to the High Arctic. This ship takes 176 guests and each cabin has either a private walk-out balcony or a Juliet balcony for direct ocean views as well as an en-suite bathroom. There are many comfortable public areas to relax after a day filled with excursions including the glass domed observation lounge, the explorer lounge and a dedicated lecture theatre where the educational program is conducted. There are health and wellness facilities featuring an outdoor running track, small gym, sauna and spa.

Explore the shores of Antarctica onboard a kayak. Glide past ice formations, walrus haul outs and marine wildlife. You will be in groups of up to 12 with an experienced kayak guide who will take you to interesting locations, many that can only able to be reached by kayaks.
Available on all voyages. Additional Cost: AU$980
This activity is very similar to kayaking but the paddle is inflatable and no dry suit is required. If you are interested in doing experiencing a kayak excursion but do not want to commit to the kayaking program the paddling option allows you to do one excursion on a canoe for approx, 1-1.5 hours with a kayaking guide. The paddles are easy to use and enable you to see the landscape from a different perspective.
